Mahindra KUV100

Yet another small sub 4-meter Mini SUV would be coming very soon from Mahindra titled Mahindra KUV100. Mahindra KUV100 will be Mahindra’s first petrol powered engine. It is targeted to fight the existing heroes in line including Ford Ecosport, Hyundai Creta, Renault Duster and so on. The name KUV expands itself as for Kool Utility Vehicle.

The aggressive frontline design captures the attraction of every youth on road. The Mahindra KUV100 front grill design, front and rear light cluster give a feeling of XUV 500 parenthood to the upcoming Mahindra KUV100. The little brother KUV100 comes with LED daytime running lights and horizontally partitioned front grill making it more sporty.

With the launch of this model, Mahindra gives birth to a new petrol engine series named mFalcon. The new Mahindra petrol engine mFALCON G80 is a 1.2-cylinder 3-cylinder engine and it makes 82PS of peak power for highline Indian roads. Unline other brands, the diesel engine of the same variant also is a 1.2-litre turbocharged engine. The diesel engine is named the mFALCON D75. The mFALCON diesel engine makes 77PS of power.

Mahindra KUV100 mFALCON comes with a 5-speed manual gearbox. The company has not officially declared about its fuel efficiency. However, we can expect a comparatively good fuel efficient engine as it is a decision making factor for any automotive in India. When the competitors have satisfactory fuel efficiency, KUV100 will not compromise on this matter and of course might even come up with a better solution for fuel economy.
