Maruti Suzuki Alto Car

Maruti Alto

Maruti Alto is the family car of the middle class people of India. Maruti Alto was a big hit in the production history of Maruti Suzuki. When the Maruti Suzuki Company reported a great loss in the year 2000, it was Maruti Alto that gave an uplifting hand to Maruti Suzuki. If that had not happened, perhaps the company’s major share could have been sold away. So, Maruti Suzuki today praises the designers and engineers of Maruti Alto.

The middle class family who cannot afford for an expensive car and who feel shy to own a Maruti 800 can opt for Maruti Alto. The designing of Maruti Alto is like that of a luxury car. It is available in four variants Alto, Alto Lx, Alto Lxi and Alto Limited Edition. All these variants ensure a good mileage of 20km per litre which a middle class family expects.

The clear lens headlamp gives a clear vision at night with bright light. The sound at the time of closing its door is that of an upgraded car like Wagon R or Santro Xing where as Maruti 800’s is not that much pleasing.

We can only say that the seating comfort of the car is not bad. The good news of the seating is that they are fabric seats. The gear knob and steering wheel offer comfortable drive. The only negative aspect of it is that it has only a 796cc, FC 4 valve engine. It is also available in seven different colors.  Maruthi Alto prices are given below.

Since it gives a good mileage up to 20kms and even more to a few good drivers (up to 30 in mileage race), it the best car for middle class family. It is also best suit for taxis. The Maruti Alto also has another fault of not having disk brakes. Since it has only a 796cc engine the youth don’t enjoy driving it with sporty spirit. But the design of the body is best suit for a sporty car. Many youngsters do modify the car into a sporty vehicle.

Maruti Suzuki Kizashi Review

Maruti Kizashi India Review

The only similarity of Maruti Suzuki Kizashi with the European Suzuki Kizashi is only in name and a very few features. The Maruti Kizashi is still a concept for the luxury car lovers of India. It was announced as the concept car of Maruti Suzuki in the 9th auto expo, New Delhi, India last year (2008). Maruti Kizashi was the best attraction of the auto expo. All the visitors and those who saw it in internet and TV channels also praised it a lot and were eagerly waiting to get it owned soon. But it is not done so far.

The concept car looked exactly like an object to be kept in a show case. Seeing it I couldn’t even believe that it was a real car. The powerful headlamp and side indicator console seem to be an illumination at a church festival.

The aero-dynamic design of Maruti Kizashi will make it the fastest Indian car. The innovative style is not so far seen in any of the cars in India. The slight similarities if all will be found only with the Suzuki’s Kizashi series cars. Though the design makes it exactly a hatch back car, but the feature and interior space makes it a sedan.

I advice only bachelors to buy a Maruti Kizashi because cute girls are sure to come behind those who own and use it. The married ones may invite problems at how with wives. And the bachelors beware that even your best friend does not drive it as your lover might get into the car with him for a lover even if he is not a handsome guy.

Maruti Kizashi will be loaded with an advanced four-valve turbo-fired two-litre petrol, Euro V engine. It is said to have all the modern facilities in the car. It will not lack any luxury. It looks much attractive in its special red color too. It is the first six-speed transmission from the Maruti Suzuki. The 21” wheels are an attraction of the vehicle. The competitors of Maruti Kizashi are Honda Civic, Toyota Corolla, Hyundai Sonata, Skoda Octavia and Volkswagen Jetta. These car producers are running with great tension having no perfect product to beat Maruti Kizashi. And the Maruti Kizashi price is only Rs. 10 lakhs. How can then the enemies sleep calm? The only thing I cannot bare in mind is that we have to wait so long up to 2010 for the launch of Maruti Kizashi. It is a sooner period for me for all other cases. But in case of Maruti Kizashi it seems to be a very long distance.

Seeing the price list and model of Maruti Kizashi I don’t even have to explain you anything about its features of A/C, adjustable seats and steering, powerful brakes, safety precautions, boot space, etc.
